Role Overview
As an Associate Software Engineer, you’ll kickstart your career by mastering Verto’s core technologies through a hands-on role in production support and cross-stack development. This position offers an accelerated growth path into a full-fledged software engineering role within 12–18 months.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in an intensive rotational program across engineering squads.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues on our global fintech platform.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to solve complex technical challenges.
- Contribute to process improvements that enhance reliability and performance.
- Demonstrate problem-solving skills to progress into higher engineering roles.
Required Skills
- 0–1 years of experience or relevant internship in software development.
- Strong foundation in object-oriented programming (JavaScript/TypeScript preferred).
- Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving ability.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Resilience under technical pressure.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to Node.js, Angular, or AWS.
- Understanding of fintech and payment systems.
- Open-source or personal project experience.
- Fast learner eager to explore new technologies.
