Role Overview
As an Administrator in Global IT Technical Support, you will be part of the Global IT Service Delivery team, ensuring smooth technical support and service distribution across the globe. This role requires strong coordination, technical analysis, and adherence to IT processes while collaborating with international teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Uphold Konecranes Core Values and Code of Conduct.
- Manage IT requests via the ticketing tool: classify, approve, assign, follow up, and close.
- Perform technical analysis for unknown or new incidents and requests.
- Collaborate with the Team Lead to build and maintain a knowledge base.
- Assess incident severity, impact, and risk; escalate to L2/L3 when needed.
- Adhere to IT policies, processes, and standards (ISO 14001, 45001 awareness is a plus).
- Support IT projects by executing assigned activities.
- Identify problem areas through recurring incidents and communicate findings.
- Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) in project/change implementations.
Qualifications & Skills
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT.
Experience: 1–3 years in a Windows environment.
Technical Expertise:
- Strong knowledge of OS, Networking, and Applications.
- Familiarity with iOS, Android, Windows, and mobile OS.
- Knowledge of SCCM and ITIL (preferred).
Soft Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Strong collaboration skills, comfortable working with global teams.
