About the Role
As an Entry Level Fullstack Engineer, you’ll work on cutting-edge backend systems built on modern, cloud-native, distributed architectures. You will:
- Build real-time streaming solutions as part of the Cisco Spaces platform, a global SaaS product used by some of the world’s leading brands.
- Contribute to frontend development using React, gaining hands-on experience in building intuitive, user-facing applications.
- Gain full-stack exposure, developing solutions that are both technically advanced and customer-facing.
- Explore and contribute to emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence and machine learning.
What We’re Looking For
- Technical Proficiency: Strong foundation in Core Java, including multithreading and server-side frameworks (J2EE / related technologies).
- Frontend Knowledge: Good understanding of React and JavaScript.
- Database Skills: Expertise in relational databases like Postgres / SQL, including query optimization and database design.
- SaaS Development: At least 2 years’ experience contributing to SaaS product components.
- Cloud & Containerization: Hands-on experience with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes for deploying and managing microservices.
Bonus Skills
- Familiarity with Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, Git.
- Exposure to Kotlin, Vertx, WebSockets, Kafka, GraphQL, EKS, or CDN.
Who You Are
- A developer with strong Core Java experience, capable of building robust, event-driven applications.
- Able to showcase technical depth through direct involvement in core application development.
- A proven team player with a record of contributing to complex, Java-based projects—with clearly defined roles and responsibilities.
