NetApp is seeking a skilled and innovative Cloud Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain cloud-based solutions with a focus on solving complex problems through code, automation, and seamless collaboration with the Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team to ensure smooth deployments in production.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain cloud-based applications and services using Go, Python, or other languages (Java, C++, .NET Core, Ruby).
- Write clean, efficient, maintainable code to solve challenging problems and improve system performance.
- Automate deployment, scaling, and monitoring of cloud applications and infrastructure.
- Use AI-powered tools (e.g., Copilot) for automation, documentation, and unit test writing.
- Work with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Apply infrastructure-as-code practices with Terraform, CloudFormation.
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
- Collaborate with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
- Ensure security best practices, networking, and system administration standards.
- Work with relational and NoSQL databases and storage solutions.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with great attention to detail.
- Solid knowledge of cloud concepts, DevOps practices, and automation.
