Cognizant is looking for a Jr. Software Engineer specializing in React.js to join our dynamic and innovative team. Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web applications using React.js ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
- Collaborate with designers and backend developers to create seamless and visually appealing user interfaces.
- Implement best practices in coding and design to enhance scalability and maintainability.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and industry standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to improve application functionality.
- Optimize components for performance across various devices and browsers.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and front-end technologies.
- Contribute to planning and execution of projects to meet business objectives.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Ensure application security by implementing robust security measures.
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members.
- Test, debug, and document application changes for high-quality deliverables.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of React.js and its core principles.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience with RESTful APIs integration.
- Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools.
- Knowledge of version control tools such as Git.
- Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Certified React Developer
