About the Role
Tata Technologies is looking for passionate Software Engineers with strong expertise in MATLAB/Simulink and automotive control systems development. This role involves modeling, simulation, testing, and debugging across automotive domains such as Powertrain, Fuel Systems, ADAS, and Cruise Control.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and test control system algorithms using MATLAB, Simulink, and Stateflow
- Work on ASW/CSAR/Autosar application layer modeling
- Perform MIL, SIL, and Polyspace testing
- Support auto code generation and build processes
- Execute unit testing, integration testing, and HIL testing
- Debug and resolve issues using strong problem-solving skills
- Work with requirements management tools and configuration systems (Windchill, Clearcase)
- Perform algorithm testing on open loop test benches
- Collaborate with teams on performance features, fuel/air handling systems, and customer feature enhancements
Required Skills & Expertise
Strong experience with MATLAB scripting, Simulink, and Stateflow
Hands-on with MIL/SIL testing and Polyspace
Knowledge of lookup tables, filters, PI/D loops, timers/counters, fixed-point arithmetic
Understanding of Windchill and Clearcase
Automotive domain expertise in Fuel System, Air Handling System, Cruise Control, ADAS, Powertrain
