About the Role
NTT DATA is looking for an enthusiastic L1 Cloud Engineer to join our team in Bangalore. If you have strong fundamentals in cloud platforms (especially Azure), networking, and storage, and enjoy solving technical issues in a 24/7 support environment, this is your chance to grow with a global leader.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and support cloud infrastructure services ensuring uninterrupted operations.
- Handle incident, service request, and change request management.
- Manage and resolve support tickets, escalating issues to L2 teams when required.
- Respond to alerts, incidents, and client emails with accurate guidance.
- Provide L1 shift support and timely customer service.
- Update KB articles and SOPs to improve team efficiency.
Preferred Experience
- Good understanding of cloud platform administration, networking, and storage (Azure focus).
- 2+ years of experience in Azure/AWS cloud environments.
- 2+ years of operational and production support experience in a 24×7 environment.
- Experience in troubleshooting, cloud maintenance, and client communication.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Qualifications & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent experience.
- Azure Fundamentals and/or AWS Cloud Practitioner certifications preferred.
