Role Overview
The Cloud Administrator will work in the CCoE application deployment team, focusing on:
- AWS and on-premises product deployments.
- Configuration management across multiple client environments.
- Collaboration with engineering and QA teams for deployment planning and troubleshooting.
- Supporting automation, documentation, and cloud migration initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Deploy and configure applications on AWS and private cloud.
- Develop and execute deployment plans with engineering teams.
- Troubleshoot deployment issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Act as the primary contact for deployment inquiries/issues.
- Perform infrastructure maintenance (including weekends).
- Create deployment support documentation.
- Assist in migrating on-premise data warehouses to AWS.
- Identify process improvements and automation opportunities.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in CS, IT, or EE.
- Experience: 1–2 years in AWS administration, application deployment, and configuration.
- Technical Skills:
- AWS services: EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, Lambda, EMR, CloudFront, ELB.
- CI/CD tools: JetBrains TeamCity, SVN, BitBucket.
- OS Administration: Windows & Linux.
- Databases: SQL Server, PostgreSQL.
- Web servers: IIS, Apache Tomcat.
- Scripting: PowerShell, Python, Bash/Shell.
- Familiarity with DevOps methodology.
- Exposure to ITIL-based environments.
