What You’ll Be Doing
As a Junior SDET, you will:
- Identify risks and evaluate product quality across releases.
- Design, write, and execute test cases.
- Support test automation using Cypress.io and integrate test suites into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Define and implement quality metrics, maintaining QA documentation.
- Review developer solutions and catch issues before release.
- Plan and execute testing cycles, set up test data, and provide quality reports.
What’ll Help You Be Successful
- 0–1 years of experience in QA and automation (freshers welcome).
- Strong foundation in manual testing processes.
- Basic knowledge of debugging web apps, REST APIs, databases, sessions, and tokens.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum frameworks.
- Exposure to automation tools like Cypress.io or Selenium (via projects, coursework, or internships).
- Experience with performance/security testing is a plus.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and proactive in communication.
