Key Responsibilities
As a Data Scientist, you will:
- Develop effective Python code to solve real-world problems and generate insights.
- Apply strong business sense and data analysis skills to extract valuable insights from public and private datasets (Kaggle, UN, US Government, etc.).
- Work closely with researchers and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver results.
- Create clear, well-documented Jupyter notebooks that explain your reasoning and coding logic.
- Debug and optimize existing code while ensuring high-quality documentation.
- Translate complex data into actionable insights and communicate findings effectively.
Job Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: Minimum 2 years as a Data Scientist with proven expertise in data analysis and Python programming.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to extract business insights from datasets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to collaborate with researchers, engineers, and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
