About the Role
We are hiring a Software Engineer – Cloud to design, develop, and implement high-performance backend solutions for our digital tools and mobile platforms. This role is ideal for highly motivated engineers eager to work on cutting-edge cloud applications in Java, Ruby, Python, MongoDB, and AWS.
You’ll collaborate with talented developers, product managers, and stakeholders in an agile environment to create scalable, secure, and reliable backend services for millions of users worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop cloud backend systems in Java, Ruby on Rails, MongoDB, and AWS.
- Build scalable, secure, and maintainable backend services supporting mobile apps.
- Work on network communication protocols (HTTPS, SSL, TLS, TCP/IP) and security implementations.
- Collaborate in agile teams to deliver features with high quality and performance.
- Participate in brainstorming, ideathons, and drive engineering excellence.
- Implement database designs (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, GraphQL).
- Improve technical standards, architecture, and development processes.
Required Skills
- Strong programming skills in Java, Ruby, or Python.
- Hands-on experience in backend development and cloud-based web services (AWS).
- Good understanding of data structures, operating systems, and computer networks.
- Knowledge of databases: MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, GraphQL.
- Familiarity with version control tools (Git, Mercurial).
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Knowledge of data analytics and machine learning.
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and collaboration tools.
- Exposure to IoT, embedded systems, telecom, or renewable tech.
- Experience in mobile app or cloud development.
Qualifications
- B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science, IT, Electrical, or related fields from a premier institute.
- Consistent academic record (80% or 8.5+ CGPA).
- 0 – 3 years of software development experience.
- Experience working in small-team agile environments.
